These are some of the green juice recipes for weight loss and detox I have tried and tested. However, how you prep and juice the ingredients is highly dependent on the model of juicer you own.
So read the manual and all the instructions because speed settings are used for different fruits and vegetables.
Green Energy Boost Juice
This is easy to make. All you need to do is push all the ingredients into your juice and go for it.
Unlike your usual cup of coffee, it will do more for your health, mental alertness and wellbeing. And it’s incredibly energizing. It’s the best way to start the day.
Ingredients
- 5 kale leaves
- 3 cups spinach
- I green apple
- 1 ginger piece
- I sprig of mint
Sweet Treat Basil

All you need to do is juice everything with the basil leaves. Stir it well then top up with a handful of ice cubes, and drink. It’s very energizing!
Ingredients
- 1 handful of basil leaves
- 1 apple
- 1 cucumber
- ¼ lime
- 3 spinach leaves
Berry Green Juice

It’s a very simple green juice recipe. The berries are rich in sweet antioxidants that blend perfectly with the nutrient in the kale.
Ingredients
- 5 kale leaves
- 1 cup of any berries
Juice the kale leaves and blend the cup of berries separately in a blender or food processor or just mash them with a fork if you have time on your hands.
Then add the berry puree to the kale juice, mix it with a spoon, sit back and enjoy it. You can juice ½ lemon or lime with the kale, or add 1 piece of ginger. This is totally optional.
Adventurous Green Juice

This one includes Jalapeno that makes the juice spicy and exciting.
Ingredients
- ½ cup of fresh pineapple
- 5 kale leaves
- ½ piece of fresh jalapeno
- 1 cucumber
If you are feeling a little brave, you could add a full jalapeno, but remember they are very spicy.
Tropical Green Juice

So, if you are not a fun of spice, this option will still satisfy your kick with a citrus-inspired tropical taste.
Ingredients
- 1 orange
- 2 kale leaves
- 3 celery stalks
- ½ grapefruit
- ½ cucumber
- ½ lemon
Classy Green Juice Cleanse

This one will give you a big nutritional boost and cleanse your body at the same time, with simple greens. It’s nice, simple and contains dark leafy greens.
Ingredients
- 4-5 handful of spinach
- 3 kale leaves
- 2 green apples
- 3 celery stalks
- 1 cucumber
- ½ lemon
Liquescent Broccoli Zinger

Ingredients
- 1 bunch of broccoli, both florets and stalks
- 2 green apples
- 1 lime
- ½ grapefruit
- ½ small zucchini
Green Honeymoon

Ingredients
- 1 cucumber
- 1 apple
- ¼ cup of pineapple
- 4 kale leaves
- 3 Swiss chard leaves
Caution
Do not be so smitten with the green juice to the extent of forgetting all the good stuff.
While you focus on the spinach and the kale, be careful not to forget the beets and tomatoes, they are also healthy. Buy lots of cabbages and broccolis but never pass up on healthy carrots and apples.
Nutritionists and health experts all around the world are always insisting on the importance of a healthy well-balanced diet. Green vegetables are great and healthy for you, yes, but the same courtesy should be extended to a well-balanced diet of vegetables and fruits when juicing.
Juicing will give you a chance to explore all the healthy fruits and vegetables without being repulsed by some. This will result to an even healthier you.
Go green juice, I highly recommend it, but do not make every single drink green. Explore the colorful aspect the fruits have to offer for the green juice.
